Friends and family — thank you for your support while we navigated being engaged and planning a big wedding during the on-going pandemic. After being engaged for nearly three years, we were just too excited to be married to wait any longer!

On Friday, March 4, 2022, we were married on the water in view of the Olympic Mountains at Carkeek Park in Seattle. We then drove to honeymoon on the coast in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Photos of our ceremony are here. We would like to thank everyone who supported us including Carolyn Mangelsdorf (our officiant), Bob Grimm, and Michael and Amelia Woolley (our witnesses).

As you know, this wasn’t the original plan for our wedding or even our plan b, but we’re so excited to let go of the time and stress spent back-up planning in favor of focusing on this new part of our lives together as a couple. We hope you will join us in joyfully celebrating our marriage. We’re ecstatic about it!

Please join us on Friday, April 29 from 5:30-6:00 p.m. PST on Zoom (we’ll be in our living room) for a toast from the both Father of the Bride (zooming in from Mesa, Arizona) and the Father of the Groom (zooming in from Sedro-Woolley, WA) and for our first dance (we hope you’ll dance along with us). There will not be a big gathering in September, but for those of you who were excited to have an excuse to travel to Seattle sometime this year we always welcome you to visit us!
